Songdo is full of fun places and events which the city's vibrant population enjoy daily.
Across the street from the IGC is the mega shopping complex Triple Street, which offers a diverse array of restaurants, clothing stores, a movie theater and even a virtual reality arcade.
Two short subway stops away is Songdo Central Park, the centerpiece of the city surrounding a small lake. Here you can find street food options, a deer enclosure, modern art sculptures, and even take a boat ride on the lake in good weather!
Or you can take a quick bus ride to Songdo's downtown area, Dream City, for a night out eating delicious Korean food, singing Karaoke, bowling and more.

Songdo, much like metropolitan Seoul, has a very efficient and easy-to-use public transportation system. All signs are written both in Korean and English, effectively eliminating the "figuring out" phase for non-Korean speaking students.
In fact, because every part of Songdo was planned out before the city was built, the public transportation is even less confusing and more accessible than other urban areas in South Korea.
Transport options include buses, subway, taxis or e-scooters.
